Insecticide is a game of action and adventure story driven Crackpot Entertainment and published Gamecock Media Group for the Nintendo DS and Windows: The game takes place in the city plagued by crime Troi in a world where insects have become the dominant life from and humans have degenerated into" hominids ". The story follows two police officers of the Division of  Insecticides ( a pun on the murder) in his attempt to solve a murder in the soft drink company Nectarola.

Game genre was described as an action adventure " in the true sense of the word," with alternating levels of action focused on mechanical platforms and levels of shooting and detectives are characterized by questioning and solving puzzles.
